The fee for a regular tutoring session with a student is
$30.00/hr: No additional assessment or other “hidden” fees are
charged, and contracts are not required (but recommended). The
regular fee also applies to California High School Exit Exam
(CAHSEE) preparation.
Certain home school and independent study programs have contracted
with me for special rates. Please feel free to contact me for more
information.
NOTE: SAT Preparation sessions are $100/hr. and require a
minimum of eight sessions. See below for test preparation rates.
Although I do not insist on tutoring contracts (with the exception of
SAT preparation) I highly recommend that a student attend more than
one or two sessions, consistently, in order to improve and stay sharp.
Also, without a contract, I cannot guarantee time slots week to week.
However, I will do my best to accommodate the schedule of a
motivated student.
SAT preparation sessions are offered in packages only; no pay-
per-session option is available. Each session is one hour long.
Packages of shorter length are not offered. Parents may choose from
one of the following two options:
Availability varies week to week, so feel free to call for available
hours. My regular schedule for private 1 hour sessions is between the
hours of 9 a.m and 5 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, and from 9 a.m.
and 6 p.m Tuesday and Thursday. Fridays and Saturdays may be
